is located on the easterly shores of Virginia Key, in a reasonably

owned and managed by Dade County. It perches on the westerly shores
of Biscayne Bay, a short hop south of Coconut Grove. There is

Black Point Marina- the southernmost
of the Dade County owned marinas. Located on the westerly shores
of Biscayne near (you guessed it) Black Point. It can be easily

off Hawks Channel, inshore of Tavernier Key. The entrance cut

just off Snake Creek, not far from this stream's outlet into the

with a good ship's store and fuel dock, also just off the Snake

Holiday Isle Marina- To our way of thinking,
this is one of the least appealing marinas in the Florida Keys.
The dockage basin is surrounded by a morass of noisy bars and
tee shirt shops. Transients are accepted, however, and there are

of Whale Harbor Channel

Lorelei Marina- a scanty web site for
one of the most popular live aboard marinas in Islamorada. This
marina is found off the ICW - Florida passage, hard by the much

complicated set of channels spanning the gap between Upper and

mom and pop sort of marina, located on Plantation Key, off the

located directly on the Key West waterfront, hard by Mallory Pier.
Unfortunately, there is barely a mention of the marina part of
this Hilton Inn operation on the web site
A&B Marina- Web site for one of the
several excellent marinas which make their home in Key West Bight.
This site is very short on photographs, but gives good info about
the marina.
City Marina at Key West Bight- this is
the place to learn more about the very popular Key West City Marina
in Key West Bight. When we are in Key West, this is usually our
first choice for overnight accommodations. This facility also
features an extensive dinghy dock for those anchored off at nearby
Wisteria Island (Christmas Tree Island) or Man of War Harbor.
